I have always been in love with

This painting by Caravaggio is one of my favorites.

This stained glass window is in the Kilmore Church on the Isle of Mull in Scotland.

Today is Mary Magdalene's feast day.

The Olympic Torch

I remember when the Olympic Torch was relayed across the U.S.
in 1984. The runner came down the street that is in front of my house. It was very fun!

I have been following the torch as it winds it way to London.

Pokeberry

I love the pokeberry that grows wild off the front of the deck.
So do the birds.
We have been watching the Orioles pluck the ripe berries from the interior of the bush. Soon the Mocking Birds, Cardinals and Robins will be queuing up for berries.
